Conduct a corrosion failure investigation of various components of the cooling water system for the plate type heat exchangers. Designed a process to mitigate the corrosion problem.

Annual contract to survey and maintain the cathodic protection systems for pipelines and the loading dock. Designed cathodic protection for product pipelines traveling from the loading dock into the refinery.

Annual contract to take care of cathodic protection and other corrosion related issues. Preformed cathodic protection design services for various pipelines. Services included conducting the soil resistivity survey, performing all design calculations, installation drawings and technical specifications. Also, included were inspection services during construction and final system checkout and adjustment. Prepared a testing protocol for the use of coupons to monitor the rate of corrosion on the interior of various pipelines.

Conducted a resistivity survey of 204 km of slurry pipeline in China. Project consisted of taking in-situ soil resistivity readings using the Wenner 4-pin technique and using Barnes Layer Calculations to determine the corrosivity of the soils at pipe depth.

Designed cathodic protection systems for 302 km of steel slurry pipeline. Design services included the utilization of both AC power and solar powered cathodic protection systems. Project included the preparation of installation drawings and technical specifications, design calculations and cost estimate.

Evaluation and re-design of the cathodic protection system at the research facility in Richmond, CA. The cathodic protection was modified from a sacrificial system to an impressed current type of system.

Preparation of technical specifications for the design and installation of a cathodic protection system for a slurry pipeline. Also, prepared typical installation drawings for this project which included designs for both sacrificial and impressed current cathodic protection systems.

Design and installation of impressed current cathodic protection for seven water extraction wells. These systems were design to be placed into vaults underground. Annual contract with Lockheed to adjust and maintain these systems.

Provided cathodic protection designs for numerous underground gasoline storage tanks at sites throughout California.
